Field Study #2

Climate: partly sunny, humid

Length of Day: 12 hours and 26 minutes

Organisms: lots of trees, LOTS of gnats and mosquitos, tall weeds, some new small weeds on hill

Observations: hill is not as sandy as last visit and some new weeds have grown, maybe because we have not been on the hill lately

What I heard: birds chirping, lawnmower, the highway(just faintly)

Questions: Were the yellow leaves, just leaves that were dying, or have they begun to change color with the seasons? Why is there many more holes in the hill than there were last visit?

More of theses holes in the ground- maybe nests of some sort?

A rusty piece of blue metal- this was not here last visit, so I wonder where it came from
